Abstract

The article reveals the essence of the problem of training future teachers of law, which consists in the fact that today a fundamentally new level of his pedagogical skill is needed, the achievement of which is possible only under the condition of radical restructuring of the activities of higher education institutions. The first crucial step towards this is to update the entire process of his professional training. In the current conditions in which Ukraine is, and this is a full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, which has a negative impact on socio-political and economic changes in Ukraine, more complex demands are placed on the future teacher of law.

The task of higher education institutions is not only to form relevant professional knowledge and skills, but also to prepare a teacher who deeply understands and knows his role in society, knows how to creatively use the acquired knowledge in practice, work with students and pupils , with the teaching staff, takes into account the opinion of colleagues, uses advanced pedagogical experience, critically evaluates what has been achieved.

The basic characteristics of his activity are important for the future law teacher: types of activity; methods and techniques by which certain educational tasks are solved; functions, as characteristics of his main duties, performed in accordance with the requirements of the profession; ways of solving certain problems or tasks in jurisprudence, as well as theoretical and applied knowledge, which should be used in professional activities.
