Abstract

The article discusses the issue of media education implementation and work with various sources of information in school practice. In order to form students' media literacy in order to resist informational aggression and prevent media traumatization, it is advisable to talk about a new lesson format and construction of tasks in the school education system. The concept of an infomedia lesson (media lesson) is substantiated and its difference from a lesson with media elements is analyzed. Keys-hints for the construction of each type of lesson have been specified for the teacher. An examples of exercises for the formation of students' media literacy is offered: the learner should not only read and analyze the information, check it in other sources, justify the conclusion and apply it to the study of the educational subject or the analysis of the life situation, but also understand the role and dangers of the mass media (incomplete information, false, distorted, manipulative, etc.).
