Abstract

The article examines the issue of the development of media educational technologies in the conditions of training students. The relevance of the investigated problem is determined by the great educational and cognitive potential of modern media technologies, which in pedagogical activity and educational practice perform a double function: improving the quality of the educational process during the study of various disciplines of the educational professional program through the high efficiency of the quality of the educational and developmental potential of media technologies – the formation of media literacy of students. The article is devoted to the problems of organizing the educational process in higher education institutions under the conditions of intensive development of media technologies, increasing the influence of media resources, and the introduction of effective media practices into pedagogical activity. It is substantiated that the level of media literacy of the student of education is the main factor in the formation of a successful professional graduate. To solve the outlined tasks, the authors applied a set of scientific methods that ensure the reliability of the results and conclusions. It is emphasized that media technologies can be effectively integrated into the educational content of almost all educational disciplines of an educational professional program of a certain level, provided that didactic and organizational requirements are met regarding the feasibility of achieving the goals and implementation of the outlined tasks of media education. The authors indicate that modern society, where information acquires the status of a socio-cultural and economic resource, requires the training of competent specialists who are fluent in media-educational technologies and effectively apply them in future professional activities. The researchers indicate that the level of media education of students should correspond to the development of the general intellectual and professional level of a future specialist in a certain field.
