Abstract

Based on the fact that the ability and technique of notetaking are one of the main work competencies that a student must master from the very beginning of his studies at an educational institution, the article  nalyzes the existing types (formats) of notes and convincingly shows that none of the known formats of notes cannot meet the needs of a physics student. Based on the experience of the authors, an innovative method of  eeping notes of lectures and practical classes in physics by students of physical specialties of higher education institutions on separate sheets of standard paper size is proposed. In addition, from the very beginning of the student's stay at the  educational institution, it is suggested to teach him the skill and technique of note-taking.
