Abstract

The results of the historical-pedagogical analysis of educational work regarding the forming of moral values of future doctors in the understudied Soviet period (70s of the 20th century) have been presented. The party-ideological and atheistic components of the content of moral education have been defined and characterized. The trend of opposition between morality and religion, antagonism of moral and religious values have been revealed. The substitution of moral education categories in the Soviet higher education, as well as the need to form universal, Christian and national moral values in modern Ukrainian students have been illustrated.
