USING PROPP'S CARDS IN ANALYSIS OF FAIRY TALE IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Abstract

The article deals with the issue of literary education in primary school, analyzes one of the main competence according to the concept of NUS, which contains cross-cutting skills that need to be developed throughout life. Acquisition of reading skills as a daily practice, as well as reading literacy determine opportunities for quality education, development of critical thinking, personal self-realization and overall greater life satisfaction in conditions of information overload, unstable political or economic situation in the country. Problems of reading list, its modernization and questions of control of reading technique are discussed. Using Propp's cards for the analysis of texts, the way of work with metaphorical cards is described. The options that guide teachers to implement a competency-based approach and the formation of a value attitude to reading as a source of knowledge and as a means of aesthetic satisfaction are determined. The results of work with texts of some writers are suggested.
