Abstract

In the article the author offers a thorough theological and didactic analysis of sermons, messages, articles and appeals of the Bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Mykhailo Sabryha, delivered by him on the occasion of solemn holida ys, patriotic gatherings and Sundays of the church year. The patriotic and instructive motives in the bishop's thoughts, which are of an educational and methodological nature for a wide range of readers, are emphasized and highlighted. The issues of significance and influence of the bishop's thoughts on the moral and patriotic upbringing of citizens are actualized. The urgency and demand for the introduction of educational and methodological ideas of public and religious figures in the processes of education, upbringing and development of individuals, in particular in higher spiritual and secular educational institutions, is argued.
