Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the organization and holding of the National Olympiad of school sports (O.N.S.S. – Olympiada naţională a sportului şcolar) as a specific form of physical education of Romanian students of educational institutions. The author singled out the Regulations of the Olympiad as the main document, according to which the planning, holding of events and control over the document flow, awarding, etc. take place. The data of the competition calendar in the 6th zone of the counties of modern Romania are given, as well as the data of the reports on the results of the competitions with the determination of the names of the participants of the competitions and their physical education teachers.
