Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of future preschool teachers of preschool education preparing for professional activity to using modern teaching technologies, in particular, the introduction of elements of STEM education in higher education institutions. Considering the STEM project, we calculated that the introduction of such an innovative learning technology will contribute to the interest of students in learning, the formation of their key professional competencies. The authors of the article highlight the main issues of STEM projects’ implementing in the educational process of future preschool teachers of preschool education preparing: training of competent teachers and providing means and equipment for STEM education; focus on the using of STEM projects in the framework of course and master's works, which will contribute to the creative development of students, prepare them to solve problem situations in everyday life and future professional activity

To study the pointed in the article issue, we used such methods as analysis of scientific, psychological, pedagogical and educational-methodical literature on the problem of research, synthesis and generalization of theoretical positions disclosed in scientific and educational-methodical literature; generalization of own pedagogical experience.
