Abstract

The article, based on the analysis of scientific publications and statistics available in the public domain, specifies the concept of "teacher readiness to use distance learning" and presents some results of a study on the readiness of teachers of secondary education to implement distance learning during quarantine in spring 2020 year. The focus is on key issues identified through an online survey of Ukrainian school teachers. The key problems that teachers had during the organization of distance learning in the spring of 2020 are outlined.
