Abstract

The article discloses the possibility of using e-textbook as an innovative educational means at general secondary schools. Different approaches to the interpretation of the notion «e-textbook» have been analyzed and systematically organized. The paper generalizes basic requirements for a modern e-textbook and describes how to provide them for primary school. A causal link between an e-textbook and educational reform New Ukrainian School has been outlined. According to the All-Ukrainian experimental project «Electronic Textbook for General Secondary Education» the e-textbooks for primary school have also undergone a detailed analysis.
