Abstract

The article outlines and substantiates the main organizational and pedagogical prerequisites for effective development of the professional competence of students majoring in translation/interpreting by means of information and communication technologies: introduction of specialized interpreting technologies, in particular special equipment for performing simultaneous interpreting; teaching translation with the help of specialized translation technologies, in particular computer-assisted translation tools; creation of information and communication educational environment by means of Moodle for ensuring effective development of the declarative component of the professional translator/interpreter competence; application of computer- oriented means (e-mail, multimedia presentations, Internet resources) in the process of formation of the declarative component.
