The methodological principles of the development of preschoolers’ spirituality in the conditions of a game

Abstract

The article presents the author’s approach to the consideration of the methodological foundations of the spirituality development of preschool children in the conditions of a game. The starting methodological position of consideration of spirituality is its interpretation as a complex dynamic system of the semantic formation of a personality, represented by ethical, aesthetic, intellectual and existential content of the processes of the reflection and construction of reality.
The author defines related angles of understanding of the psychological contents of spirituality and spiritual development for the creation of a holistic concept of psychology of spiritual life of personality. Spiritual development is considered as the process of updating and objectifying of sacramental spiritual intentions of aksiopsychological potential of the individual (Essential I) – goodness, beauty, truth, good sense of human life in the whole and subjective abilities that contribute to the dynamics of semantic entities of ethical, aesthetic, cognitive and existential meaning and determine the coordinates and forms of self-knowledge, self-determination, self-creation, self-transcendence of the individual through its adherence to the sacred metaphysical reality and fulfillment of Spiritual ideal.
The choice of the game as a method of developing the spirituality of the personality of the preschool children is justified: the game is a means of reflecting the surrounding reality, a way of developing activities, adult relationships in a child-friendly form; the game is a universal method because it implements a wide range of functions – educational, developmental, psychotherapeutic; game is a natural method of the spirituality development, because in its psychological content it is as close as possible to the psychological content of the phenomenon of spirituality, namely – the realization of the freedom of choice, the dialogue nature of a person. The author presents the program of the development of preschool children spirituality “Developing the spirituality of the child by playing” and the procedure of realization of thematic plot-role games of didactic orientation according to the structural components of the personality spirituality is also described.
