Abstract

The historical experience of teaching students in schools of Eastern Ukraine in the early twentieth century is studied in this article. The purpose of the article is to analyze the peculiarities of language education as well as to study the experience of developing writing skills of students during the period under study. The article proves that the language education developed gradually, due to the changes in education system and in accordance with the general approach to teaching methods.
