Abstract

It was revealed that each age period has its own characteristics, which affect the formation of value orientations of the younger generation. It was found that effective in forming the value of life is a younger adolescent age, characterized by a set of tumors that activate or inhibit the proper course of the processes of forming this phenomenon in children of the specified age. In particular, at the level of the younger adolescence, the main new tumors are the following: development of critical thinking, independence, expansion and deepening of interpersonal relationships, active development of the foundations of deliberate behavior, the formation of moral principles and social attitudes, the intensive formation of identity and self-esteem, growth of conflicts in the relationship, etc.
Since the value of life is an integrative phenomenon, which includes cognitive, emotional-value and behavioral-activity components, the peculiarities of formation of these spheres in young adolescents are considered in detail. It was found that the degree of development of a cognitive component depends not only on the expansion of informative knowledge, but on the ability of the individual to critically rethink this knowledge, to compare with those acquired earlier. It is revealed that the cognitive component of the value of life involves a certain level of knowledge of the younger teenager about knowledge of: life as a higher, absolute value; health and ways of its preservation and improvement as a source of full life; the fullness of life on the basis of creativity and optimism of life. In the process of purposeful educational work, this knowledge passes into beliefs that determine the presence of young adolescents motives and needs to preserve life and health, the desire to make their own life rich and interesting; value attitude to the life and health of his and other people (indicators of the emotional and value component of the value of life of younger teenagers).
Behavioral-activity component of the value of life of a young teenager involves: the ability to be careful about own life and health, to maintain safety and a healthy lifestyle, to organize their own lives on the basis of creativity and vital optimism.
