Abstract

This article reviews the overall description of the Nord Stream-2 project, analyzes the policy of German Chancellor Angela Merkel regarding the construction of the Nord Stream-2.
In addition, the position of Germany and Europe is described in detail, the views of various experts on North Stream-2 and Merkel are outlined, the significance and risks of constructing North Stream-2 for Ukraine are identified.
