Abstract

The article analyzes the formation and activities of state and legal institutions of the Austrian Empire in Galicia (end XVIII- early XIX centuries). The article deals with sufficiently effective system of controls Austrian authority on dependent territories - both in the center and on the ground (especially in Galicia).
